Structure and network

The IHK Wiesbaden has 58 employees including 9 trainees. 

The IHK Wiesbaden has joined with the nine other Hesse chambers of industry and commerce to form the IHK Arbeitsgemeinschaft Hessen in order to address issues held in common in a joint approach. This includes mainly the issuing of statements on economic policy matters to the regional government of Hesse.

In addition to this, the IHK Wiesbaden is also a member of the IHK-Forum Rhein-Main, a joint initiative of all IHKs in the Rhine-Main region, which also includes parts of Bavaria, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. In total the IHK-Forum Rhein-Main represents 280,000 companies and is thus the voice of industry and commerce in the whole Rhine-Main region.

On behalf of and in coordination with the 80 German IHKs, the association of the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce, the Deutsche Industrie- und Handelskammertag (DIHK), is the umbrella organisation responsible for representing the interests of German business with regard to the decision-makers in federal government and in the European institutions.

The foreign trade relationships of the German companies are promoted in more than 80 countries worldwide by around 120 German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK), delegate offices and representations of the German economy.
